A Festival is an event or a series of events that is the symbol of celebration, of bringing together people, not only of the same origin but also people from different walks of life. The Himalayas have always stood tall and firm, and likewise, Nepalese people from time immemorial have shown their unshakable pride by wearing the typical Dhakatopi which represents the majestic natural phenomena for which Nepal is known worldwide. Likewise, the Light of Asia, the historical Buddha; Gautama was born in the once beautiful garden of Lumbini of Nepal which is one of the holiest places of Buddhism. Furthermore, the rich bio-diversity, cultural heritages, and the unique lifestyles of the Nepalese people living together as a melting pot bring a spontaneous charm that is rarely seen elsewhere.   However, it is not the high mountains, nor the famous holy places like Lumbini which makes Nepal so beautiful, it is the people, the warm smile so often mentioned in most of the travelogue of travelers, that makes it so.
