What makes Nepal beautiful

Image
The Himalayas have always stood tall and firm, and likewise, Nepalese people from time immemorial have shown their unshakable pride by wearing the typical Dhakatopi which represents the majestic natural phenomena for which Nepal is known worldwide. Likewise, the Light of Asia, the historical Buddha; Gautama was born in the once beautiful garden of Lumbini of Nepal which is one of the holiest places of Buddhism. Furthermore, the rich bio-diversity, cultural heritages, and the unique lifestyles of the Nepalese people living together as a melting pot bring a spontaneous charm that is rarely seen elsewhere.   However, it is not the high mountains, nor the famous holy places like Lumbini which makes Nepal so beautiful, it is the people, the warm smile so often mentioned in most of the travelogue of travelers, that makes it so. In other words in the modern terminology; hospitality. Smile is the universal language transcending continents and barrier of nationality/culture/language. The

Transition

Image
(PC: https://alopescoaching.com/life-transition/ ) Life is not a one-way smooth journey, it cannot be life without going through changes; its ups and downs, the times of turbulence, and those of rare respite in between. Change; is inevitable and with it arrives a string of problems. And problems, those that we need to face every day, challenges the limit we have set for ourselves that invisible line we believe we cannot rise from, for now. There is always, always the pursuit of something that is just next on the horizon, that complements our belief of inadequacy; the inability to be outspoken, the inability to perform as others do, and it is natural to have such thoughts, such moments of frustration, after all, we are still learning about ourselves; our mind, our relationships and all the chaotic part of us which we had gone through and will do so, on., And that pursuit is what makes us unique, different from each other, though in the surface, our intention seems same; to have a l

The Transportation Situation in Kathmandu

Image
Every day the commuter in Kathmandu needs to go through hectic travel to and fro the workplace, college/school, and home. Not only is the travel long, but it is also dangerous. The vehicles are too small to accommodate a large number of passengers and those which are big enough are also too few. The cost paid is also not scientifically fixed, though on the surface it seems to be generally acceptable.  As a common commuter one needs to make a plan while traveling. It is a blessing to reach your destination on time and without looking like a warrior who has survived a ruthless war. One needs to prepare an hour to reach a destination that can be reached in half. Also, s/he should be mentally and physically prepared. Despite the strict regulations, there are loopholes like the number of passengers or maximum weight a vehicle should not cross. Conductors are encouraged to lie about the seats available and the time one can reach the destination. The right to information is breached. Als

The power of money

Image
( https://www.saatchiart.com/art/Photography-A-O-The-Color-of-Money-Power-Within-Limited-Edition-1-of-25/800065/4397104/view ) Money can open doors. Especially the white money. Imagine! You can reach the infinite space and watch the home planet where we live in. Just with a couple of hundred grand, you can buy a ticket and according to latest report just with a whopping sum of 15 million dollars, there is a space travel package! That includes 5 days to be trained and certified for an “Extravehicular Activity,” otherwise called a spacewalk.  Well, not only to travel to places mankind has just started to explore but the entirety of the globe, money is a must. You can have breakfast in Tokyo, lunch in Paris, and dinner in New York, truly a cosmopolitan man! The depth of the ocean or the highest mountain; nothing is impossible to reach and explore when you have bought your very own personal submarine and hired a dozen of the best Sherpa's as your personal guide.  You can&

Theory of No Return

Image
( https://www.quora.com/What-is-spaghettification ) The perceived belief of time and resources; precisely energy as infinite is untrue. Such belief and the action resulting from it by the economic man on the basis of resources divided in terms of the long and short term may seem well to put bluntly arrogant, what could be more precise is that such is not limited to the time they are used but the intrinsic value they contain at present and the future. As resources once exploited can never return back to that which was original (seemingly indefinite for the economic man). Even the continuous life cycles of living beings change over time; with either evolution or mutation. The monkey of hundreds of millions of years ago and the ones now living are psychologically as well as physically very different and so is the environment they live in. The past being has to let go of their vestigial organs for the sake of survival which is also the case for the energy that fuels life as we know it.

Who are we?

In my experience, we are not what others think of us as, and most importantly in many instants, they are dead wrong to assume who we are. We are not what we look at or the moods we are in when we interact with second-third or fourth parties. We are neither the reserved or impolite fools lurking in the dark. We are just not too enthusiastic about the ordinary tidings of the people who are busy in their all too colorful busy life. And with more soul-searching are we truly who we think ourselves to be? The memories of the past; the pleasurable and the painful, all shape us to be the person who we are now, through the actions we so naturally accomplish without fore-thought. Perhaps, the identity we are given from birth and that which we have accepted as given truth if we take a moment to reflect does it truly does justice to what we feel ourselves as to be?  How wrong can we be to assume and not be always sure of who we are? For some, we are brother, father, sister, lover, teacher, s
